Item Description
Brass ring with adjustable bands shows a batter on each side with crossed bats below. Ring top has high relief baseball design reading "Baseball Centennial" with the dates on the raised image of a baseball "1839-1939." This ring was issued in 1938 as a General Mills premium for the Jack Armstrong radio show. They recorded only 46,501 distributed. The following year Quaker Cereals used the remaining supply as a premium. Trivial microscopic luster loss. Luster about 98%. A scarce ring and only about the sixth we've had over the years. Great condition, probably impossible to improve upon.
