Item Description
First is rare 1.25" size depicting "Rushing Bear/Pawnee." Typically this is seen in 7/8" size as part of a set of six depicting famous American Indians. This 1.25" size is exceedingly rare and complete with its W&H backpaper c. 1900. Next is choice color 2-1/8" "I'm A Red Nose Musketeer." We don't know the slogan's exact meaning but perhaps an item issued by the Red Men Fraternal Lodge. c. 1915 with W&H backpaper. Next is 1.25" showing Indian in headdress and promoting a 1909 Syracuse New York event titled "Ka-Noo-No Karnival And State Fair." Tiny age on W&H backpaper. Next is 1.75" inscribed "Cherokee Indian Reservation, N.C." This is c. 1960 and first we've seen. Next is 1-3/8" litho showing "Black Hawk Sauk Indian Chief." This is part of a numbered set of 10 issued in the early 50s with reverse caption "Van Brode America Series No. 4." Reverse also has brief bio of this chief. The set included several other Indians and famous frontiersmen. Last is 2" litho tin tab showing "Chief Sitting Bull." This is a premium from "Post's Raisin Bran" whose name appears on the reverse. This was a set of 12 primarily featuring Hopalong Cassidy, frontier people and Indians, all used as cereal premiums. Tiny bit of blue off the unfolded stem at the top. Other than this, all 6 items are Exc. to Mint and display Mint.
