Item Description
First is "Genuine Leather" wallet 3.25x4.25". Inside fold line has partial break in the surface leather but still totally intact and with unused identification card. Exterior has only slight traces of wear and displays nicely. Second is a "Photomatic" souvenir photo held in 2-5/8x3-1/8" tin frame. Underside has photo of young man in jacket and tie beneath a clear cello covering. Bit of penciling on the Perisphere side apparently relating to an order for a pair of larger photos. Slight loss of tin luster but overall Fine. Next is plastic comb and mirror in simulated leather case with snap cover. This has logo of Fair in silver. 4.25" long. Couple hairlines on the flap and small streak of brown covering material off the length of the top edge fold line and smaller streak off the back. Still displays Fine. Next is change purse with simulated reptile skin pattern. Material has hardened but cover snap still works. Again, a narrow line of surface material off the top fold line but front displays VF. Last and what we find most interesting are suspenders with Trylon and Perisphere images repeating over the blue elastic material. In addition there are a pair of brass snap fasteners to serve to adjust the length. Each shows Trylon and Perisphere with text "World's Fair 1939 N.Y." Suspenders have leather and elastic button fasteners. Exc. condition and fully functional. Among the most unusual Expo souvenirs we've come across over the years.
