Item Description
First is 7/8" c. 1898 with W&H backpaper and text "Lincoln's Birthday." Pinpoint dot on his forehead was dirt speck now removed. Second is 7/8" crisp bw illustration on a button c. 1930s with St. Louis Button Co. paper. Both of these are Exc. and display Mint. Last is 1.25" button with slightly tinted photo, rarely seen, against gold bkg. Small mark on forehead is result of the coloration. Slightly heavier than usual oxidation on the back but cello remains glossy and displays Mint. See Abraham Lincoln on GAR 1914 ribbon #664.
