7.5" tall with large bar pin frame holding celluloid insert with 9-line quotation from Lincoln that begins "'It Is Rather For Us To Be Here Dedicated To The Great Task Remaining Before Us; That From These Honored Dead We Take Increased Devotion To That Cause For Which They Here Gave The Last Full Measure Of Devotion..." Faint 1/8" age spot at top and smaller 1/16" at lower right. Below is silver on fabric with elaborate eagle and wreath design surrounding as issued, a pinned-on real photo sepia button of Lincoln. Couple of very tiny age marks upper right and lower left. Silver text reads "We Honor The Memory Of Abraham Lincoln." Bottom of ribbon is joined to silver luster shield accented by eagles and wreath. Celluloid center of this reads "Lincoln Memorial/Souvenir Badge/For Dept. G.A.R. and W.R.C./In Convention At/Redfield/May, 1914." Graphic and still displays beautifully.
