Item Description
Original card is 2-1/8x4". Lightly tanned all over with a couple of pinpoint darker dots. Printed text is "American Eagle's Grip On Spain." Neatly inked near top is "Please Give This To Foland Head." The brass shell pin is about 2.25" tall and 2.5" wide. The unpainted brass areas have lost their luster but vast majority of the accent paint remains. Depicted is eagle with American flag on staff and eagle uses his talons to hold the King of Spain by the seat of his pants. Only example we know of. Also see Admiral Dewey pictured on early Fred Fearnot premium badge #1160 and editorial cartoon art #23.
