Item Description
Smallest is 7/8" and largest is 1.75" litho tin shield at the center. At top is "Delegate" button for Woodrow Wilson's endorsed League of Nations. This has Bastian paper. The multicolor at upper left inscribed "World Peace" has backpaper naming the group "World Peace Propaganda" in "Conneaut, Ohio." This probably pre-dates WWI and has a W&H backpaper. The one "Let Us Have Universal Peace" is from the WWI era or slightly later and has W&H backpaper. The one reading "Peace And Goodwill" has a covered tin back with bar pin. Tiniest trace of gray on the white bkg. At center reading "We Want Peace" is litho tin shield we've not seen before. About three tiny 1/8" scratch marks but still displays nicely. Next is button reading "Pax" with photo of Jesus. Has W&H backpaper. At bottom left is mother-of-pearl pin with brass dove holding blue enamel ribbon reading "Peace 1918." This has a bar pin on the back. Bottom center is "World Peace" with flags of the allies and c. 1919. The oval reads "Universal Peace Movement" with dove holding small sign reading "'Oh God' Give Us Peace." This is probably somewhat after WWI into the 1920s. An attractive and early "Peace" themed display with numerous that are scarce.
