By same company as previous item #1966 and modeled after a figurine by Zaccagnini (see item #1965). This is identical in size and design to the Zaccagnini figure although solid plaster rather than ceramic. 4.5x5.5x9" tall. One of 3 different Donald as golfer figurines, this one depicts him posed about to swing his golf club, a ball rests on the front of the base. Has removable metal golf club. 1940s, underside has Leonardi/Disney faint markings. Back of base also has incised number "W/8." Small scattered traces of paint nicks/rubs/flakes most noticeable on the golf ball. Still retains a bright and glossy appearance. Fine. Rare. Impressive figurine.
