Item Description
6.5" tall bear in plush with celluloid hands, helmet and removable football and metal feet. By Masuada, Japan 1950s. Applied label on top of box has one small tear about .5" and .75" square bit of missing surface paper on left corner. Neither greatly affects image. Box has few creases on bottom, still overall Fine. Bear has great imagery with highly detailed celluloid helmet and removable in-scale celluloid football. Bear also has glass eyes. Metal feet have a few tiny paint nicks. Bear's plush has overall fading to a lighter shade of blue. Overall still displays Exc. Rarest plush bear wind-up thought to represent the Golden State Bears (California) football team.
