8" tall chimp and 8.5" tall bear are plush with built-in keys. Both by Alps, Japan 1950s. Both colorful boxes are included and aside from one small tear in the corner of the bear's box, both display Exc. Toys themselves both work on the same principle, when wound they go up and down on their back legs and tail and operate their instruments - the chimp a pair of cymbals and the bear a nicely designed drum and illustrated with two tiny bears. Both have tiny traces of wear to the plush but both display Exc.
