Item Description
Die-cut cardboard display has flattened size of 14x26" and is designed to be assembled as a counter display unit. Promotes 1941 premium offered by Quaker Puffed Wheat & Rice Sparkies. See complete premium #2090. At center is illustration of assembled cockpit plus "How To Fly" booklet that came as part of the premium. Captain Sparks image at top left corner in airplane, at right are inset cereal boxes, bottom has die-cut design of boy using cockpit while girl reads book. When assembled, display was designed as holder for order blank coupons. Slight trace of margin wear and aging, minor .25" crease on die-cut wing tip, right top corner has .5" sliver missing but barely noticeable. 1.5" tear to bottom right corner with archival repair on reverse.
