All items in this lot are about 8.5x11". 1933 was the first year that Dixie issued lids and premium pictures depicting movie stars. This lot includes 5 from that set which are Wallace Beery, Helen Hayes, Myrna Loy, Marie Dressler and Robert Montgomery. In 1934 Dixie issued two-page premium pictures consisting of a borderless photo on stiff paper and thin paper companion sheet for that star with bio information and film scenes. Those included from that set (both sheets) are Clark Gable, James Cagney, Jean Harlow, Claudette Colbert, Frederic March, Ronald Colman, Loretta Young, Edmund Lowe, Ken Maynard, Jackie Cooper. Also included is Dickie Moore but only the portrait picture, no bio page. Also included are front/back covers for the 1934 set. Final 2 items are portrait pictures of Clark Gable and Jean Harlow from a similar but non-Dixey series (Gable trimmed). All have moderate wear and aging, mostly to margins and ring binder holes. Cover shows the most wear and is just Good. All else mostly Fine. Nice, early lot.
