Largely photographic and features the entertainment/social stars of the era along with their pursuits (polo, yachting, auto racing). Many famous people are shown in full page photos but each issue includes Outcault-related material. Covers have some small tears but most wear is to the paper spines with numerous splits and missing pieces. However, most contents are Exc. Aug., 1903 - missing bottom 25% of front cover. Contains actual photo simply captioned "R.F. Outcault" plus page showing first 3 of 10 illustrations from "Buster Brown And His Bubble" along with info to order large prints, plus 2 Outcault illustrated pages related to America's Cup race. Sep., 1903 - one page reproduces 3 more of the "Buster Brown And His Bubble" illustrations while the top 1/3 of the opposite page advertises these as the 9x11.5" prints at 25¢ each or the set of 10 for $2.00. Oct., 1903 - underwater scene of bare-breasted mermaid golfer titled "R.F. Outcault's Golf Girl." Nov., 1903 - sepia illustration titled "R.F. Outcault's Football Girl." Same issue has second Outcault drawing of female with caption on the art "The Horse - I'll Bet No One Can Put A Check Rein On That Girl" and the caption below the art "R.F. Outcault's Horse Show Girl." Inside back cover shows all 10 Buster/Bubble prints. Dec., 1903 - Christmas sepia photograph of woman and boy in outfit with art of Tige to the left and a resolution scroll in the foreground photo titled "Mrs. Thomas Brown And Her Son Buster." Resolution reads "Resolved! That The Next Time I Get My Picture Taken I Won't Do It. I Like To Be Good But I Don't Want To Over Do It." Again has page of 10 Buster/Bubble images (loose back cover on this issue). Jan., 1904 - White House with Yellow Kid looking somewhat like McKinley (which is strange since he had been dead 3 years) next to Theodore Roosevelt snowman with caption "Having Fun In The White House Yard." Moisture stain on bottom spine edge corner but not very serious on the specified pages. Feb., 1904 - woman in fur coat surrounded by red Valentines entitled "A Leap Year Girl." Mar., 1904 - gorgeous girl as if in car surrounded by steering wheel, head lamps and her hat flying off captioned by a short verse. Same issue has great content about auto racing at Daytona with many photos including W.K. Vanderbilt after setting a 20-mile world record.
