Item Description
8.5x11x3" deep box ©King Features Syndicate c. late 1950s-early 1960s. Original cellophane window is partially detached but intact. Box shows st. wear w/creases to side panels. Fine. Thin Vacuform plastic mask has day-glo accents. In addition to the standard type mask, this one has an added clear plastic face shield attached with rivets to more realistically depict a space helmet as worn by Flash. Mask has 1/8" and pair of .25" splits along top edge. Still displays Exc. Size Large (12-14) rayon costume has glitter flocked "Flash Gordon" text and design showing him in spacesuit and helmet leaping through space w/larger portrait image of him at upper left. Costume remains free of splits and retains bright colors. N. Mint. Rare.
