Item Description
6.25x16.5x2.25" deep box contains complete set by Royal Electric Co. Inc. of Pawtucket, RI. Beautiful 1930s set features repeated art of Popeye and Wimpy standing in front of Christmas tree decorated w/Mazda lamps. Art appears on box lid and display insert. Die-cut area that holds the Mazda lamps has image of Popeye and another character and "Mazda Lamps" text. Tabs that hold lamps in place have "Popeye Christmas Tree Set" text and hold 8 hard plastic light bulb shades along w/lights, each featuring nice decal featuring Popeye and Wimpy (but mostly just Popeye). Set features 6 different decals. A few minor decal hairlines but these are only noticeable upon close inspection and do not greatly detract from overall appearance which remains VF. Box lid has scattered age spotting and wear. Fine+ overall.
