Both have same title and are by Whitman ©1937 King Features Syndicate Inc. #686 is 11x13.75" and has repeat illustration on front and back covers of Popeye holding paint can and brushes as 2 children look on. Covers have lt. handling wear w/pinch creases along spine, corner tip wear. Fine w/unused, Exc. pages. #2081 is larger square-bound book, 11x13.75". Repeat front and back cover illustrations of Popeye carrying artist's palette and brushes. Front cover has 1.25x1.25" area of surface paper remnants of price sticker in upper left and scattered moderate age spotting. Wear to spine on back. Fine-. Pages remain clean, unused and Exc.
