9-3/8x13" w/16 pages. #944 ©1936 King Features Syndicate Inc. Book features a large, different full color illustration on each page w/story text. Story deals w/Popeye and Swee'pea arriving on island w/Wimpy and Olive Oyl and getting into trouble w/monkey. Swee'pea is pictured on back cover blowing bubbles w/pipe, each bubble containing portrait of Popeye, Olive Oyl and Wimpy. Lightly aged at margins, a few pinch creases to spine. VF/Exc. As nice as these are found. Scarce.
