Item Description
Large free-wheeling 11" long by 5.5" tall wooden truck. Unmarked but Spanish c. 1930. Cab of truck shows Popeye driving w/"P" on each door. Back of truck has nice image of large clown holding circular portrait of Popeye and text that roughly translates to "Fried Spinach Today." "Gran Circo" text translates to "Great Circus." Six holes drilled in cab of truck has design to hold included vintage colored pencils. Bed of truck is open and designed to hold paper/stationery for use w/pencils. Lt. wear to painted metal wheels, some scattered hairline cracks to paint of truck bed w/.25x.75" area of flaking at front and back corner. Fine/VF.
