4.5" tall glazed ceramic bowl w/10.5" dia. Underside has signature stamp for maker Universal-Cambridge of OH. plus The Borden Co. copyright. c. 1940s. Bowl has full color portraits of Elsie, Elmer, Beauregard and Beulah. Upper rim has thin gold accent rim around perimeter, majority of this is worn away. Usual and typical overall fine crazing. Scattered aging. Fine/VF. Most impressive and rarest piece from the Elsie line by this company.
