Item Description
11.5" tall c. 1940s. Produced by Pottery Guild of America. Main portion appears as wooden barrel w/"Elsie" name and "Handle With Care - Use No Hooks, Fragile" raised text. Back of barrel has Elsie's tail design. Lid consists of Elsie's upper body, her front legs serving as handles. Exc. One of the best advertising cookie jars.
