11.5x12.25" spiral-bound first issue published Autumn, 1938 by U.S. Camera Publishing Corp. Features several professional bw photos of varying contents including portraits, animals, landscapes, science, several candid photos. Also includes ads for photographic equipment and supplies. Of special note is 4-page spread featuring bare-breasted model frolicking w/fabric. A few full color photos also appear by H. I. Williams, Arthur Gerlach, others. Noteable bw portrait of Marlene Dietrich by George Hurrell. Bound-in inserts announcing photo contest and perforated photo supply company mailer cards as well as "Christmas Gift" order blank remain intact. Lt. wear at bottom corner of covers.
