Item Description
20.5x26" paper sign promoting the 1949 Topps card set of 200 titled "X-Ray Round Up." Great art includes example image of display box, single pack, front of "Sitting Bull" card and "Hidden Mystery Picture" back of "Gun Feud" card. Sign text reads "Every Card Another Portrait, Every Card Another Pixie Mystery Picture/Invisible Pictures Revealed Only By The X-Ray Film Included In Every Package." Additional western theme text includes "Packed With Double Action...Western Style/It's A Record-Bustin' Rodeo-Ride 'Em Cowboy." Has some small archival tape repairs to original fold lines on reverse of sign. Lt. aging, 3" long area along top edge w/some brown stain spots. Overall appearance remains bright and clean. Fine. A scarce and graphic promotional sign. Previous sales of this sign have exceeded $600.
