Vol. 1, #26, Sep. 25, 1953 features 3-page article titled “How They Make Superman Fly.” Has bw and full color images. Also has full page ad for the 1953 World Series between Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Yankees with image of players including Yogi Berra and Mickey Mantle. Classic cover features full color image of George Reeves as Clark Kent and flying above as Superman plus text “George Reeves — Man And Superman.” One of the classic covers, this issue may only be superseded in popularity by the classic first issue featuring Lucille Ball’s baby. Issue has some lt. handling wear with pinch creases to spine but still displays VF. Pages are Exc.
