Item Description
4x7x12” molded composition case in shape of log cabin. 4x5” window has interior light with on/off switch in black and molded plastic or composition figure of Davy Crockett with rifle on horseback rocking back and forth in front of bear which is standing on hind legs. Bottom of window shows images and reads “Creek Indian - Congress - The Alamo.” 3” dia. domed clock face with desert scene with rising sun and gold luster. Back of clock has original panel reading “Davy Crockett Electric Clock Model #20” and paragraph of “The Tennessee Frontiersman.” Bottom reads “Haddon Products Inc., Chicago, Illinois.” Back reads “Another Haddon Action Original.” Original cord and plug. Crockett scene lights and moves. c. 1955. Inside paper bkg. scene has some chips/paper missing and some wear but difficult to see as is. Minute .25” hairline crack at right side of clock frame, pair of .25” cracks on window frame. Still displays Exc. One of the most impressive Davy Crockett items we have ever offered, the only other time we sold this clock it realized $940 in bids. Rare.
