Item Description
20x26.5” map/gameboard is folded as issued by Wheaties in 1936 and when opened, map reveals facsimile letter from Jack Armstrong describing the game and mentions enclosed talisman which could be used “As A Watch Fob, Neck Piece Or Pocket Piece.” Map/gameboard features overhead view of Southeast Asia plus designated trail to follow during game play and this features many small related illustrations of native people, scenes, plus large image of talisman. Rules and directions are printed on bottom margin. Just the faintest trace of aging with a 1.5” area of staining along bottom right margin. O/w totally clean and Exc. Comes with 3x3” cardboard spinner and 1.25” dia. metal talisman with bright gold luster and green accents. Brass medallion pictures fierce dragon with Chinese inscription below. Inscription translates to “China, The Key To The Door Of The Room Is Very Precious.” Talisman is N. Mint with full luster and antiqued green highlights. Game is missing set of six 1.5” tall die-cut cardboard markers. Complete examples of this game (with markers and mailing envelope) typically bring $1,000.
