Item Description
4x8x1.5” deep box contains 2x8x4” tall by Mitsushima marked “Made In Occupied Japan.” c. late 1940s. Box has 3" crease on back panel, .25" tear on plain side panel. Lid has .25" tear at one corner and tiny pinpoint puncture at one duck's beak. But box still displays VF/Exc. Toy consists of a painted tin sled which is being pulled by a celluloid rabbit. String reins attached to the celluloid centerpiece which depicts 2 ducklings seated on either end of a basket while at center is a peep coming out of an egg. Attached to the back of the sled is a bell. Toy comes with a key and works. It travels around in a circle and the bunny moves slightly as if galloping as he pulls the sled. Nice wind-up. A few scattered pinpoint paint nicks but o/w N. Mint.
