Item Description
14x20” stiff paper poster for Sep. 16-17, 1966 concerts at Avalon Ballroom that featured Grateful Dead and Oxford Circle. Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley features the now iconic Grateful Dead image of a skeleton with roses on its head in a rose garden as originally drawn by Joseph Sullivan. This is a third printing done shortly after the original printings, later reprints were also done. All vintage printings of this poster are very popular with first printings valued at over $5,000. N.
