Pair of 1970s toys from Taiwan. Each has similar design but quite different overall, both are 8” dia. by 5” tall tin litho and hard plastic. The “Space-Ranger 7” is detailed with names of “NASA/United States” plus U.S. flags, plastic dome lights around outside while under center dome is astronaut at ship’s controls. Toy works and travels around with bump-and-go action as center compartment and antenna spin, lights flash and space sound is produced. Scattered box wear/aging with some small edge creases, Fine. Toy N. Mint. “Space Ship X-5” depicts astronaut behind ship’s controls surrounded by colored lights and under clear plastic dome. Ship’s name appears on outside of body.
