Complete Jul. 29, 1963 issue features portrait of Liston on front cover. Inside is 3-page article on Liston’s retaining the heavyweight championship after beating Floyd B. Patterson in Las Vegas. Article has full-page bw photo image of Liston sparring in ring as Muhammad Ali looks on. Issue has some handling wear with pinch creases to spine. Original mailing label has been removed from lower left corner and surface paper lifts have some touch-ups which blend nicely. Fine+ overall. Liston has signed in blue ink in upper right corner. Signature area is Exc. Comes with Hake’s COA.
