Pair of 21x28.25” posters for “The Pioneer Mentalist” and “Brilliant Psychic Star” Newmann the great. c. 1920s poster has nice greentone photo image of Newmann just above center with 4 separate greentone poster images promoting “His Marvelous Show Of Wonders.” These reproduced poster images include images of devils, skeletons, hypnosis and other spectacles. Poster was folded as likely issued but as linen-mounted, this is only noticeable upon close inspection and poster displays Exc. as linen-mounted. Second poster features nice art image of a blind-folded Newmann with spectral woman behind him flanked on either side by images of the pyramids and the Great Sphinx. Intermittent images of flying bats and black cats appear around him as do text questions as stated at bottom of poster “Ask Him – He Knows!” c. late 1920s. This poster is also folded as issued though as linen-mounted, poster displays Exc. Great imagery.
