Item Description
12” dia. tin litho thermometer with aluminum casing. Thermometer advertises Wanda Motor Oil and has “Cato Oil & Grease Co. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma” imprint. Missing glass cover over the thermometer but is now framed in a 1.25x18.25x3” deep wooden/glass display with text plaque reading “On Exterior Location For Twenty-Seven Years!” indicating this thermometer was prominently displayed for many years. Thermometer itself is c. 1940s-1950s. Scattered aging/wear as is expected for outdoor display over the course of nearly 3 decades. Fine.
