4.75x7.25x2” deep box contained 7.25” long lithographed and steel water pistol model number X-Z 44 by Daisy Mfg. Co. 1936. Box has nice large illustration of water pistol on lid with image of Buck flying through space. Image repeated on bottom panel. Left side panel has directions with “44” spacecraft, “44” spacecraft is repeated on right side panel. Front and back side panels each have differing space illustrations of Buck and spaceships. Of note, Buck is seen with X-Z 44 pistol in hand. Box is complete with all flaps intact though shows moderate handling wear with .5” tear to left end flap and 1.75” tear to right. .25” puncture on lid panel, front side panel and 2.5” puncture on bottom panel. VG-. Box has no fading, deep rich orange-red color makes for beautiful display. This is the rarest Buck Rogers gun box and the only example we’ve ever offered in our 43 years.
