Item Description
2.75x8” display card contains “Flash Gordon Space Compass” by Esquire Novelty Co. c. 1951. Card features Flash portrait. Scattered handling wear with creasing and edge wear. VG. Compass has vinyl wrist strap with designs including “Flash Gordon” name and several different images plus spaceships and planets. At center is a 1.25x2” bright silver luster plastic attachment with relief design of Flash bust, planets and stars around compass at center. Clear plastic cover over paper insert with Flash portrait. Compass shows some lt. oxidation as attached to card by original staples. Still displays Exc. 5x7” display card contains 7” long balloon/cardboard tube toy, balloon being shaped with Flash Gordon image on it. Produced by The Barr Rubber Products Co. As designed, toy would be blown up and let go causing it to fly around while making noise. Display card has nice image of Flash Gordon riding rocket with spaceships in bkg. Lt. corner tip wear. VF overall.
