Item Description
5.75x8-7/8x3.5” deep box has illustration of remote control police car with “With Siren And Flashing Light” advertising text. Car is depicted on main panel with attached remote control unit. Box lid has corner split and corner tip wear. VG/Fine. Box contains 8.5” long (not counting attached wire and remote control unit) by Line Mar. ©F.A. Syndicate. c. 1950s. Painted tin car with separately attached tin litho shield-shaped emblems on each side, each bearing Tracy profile image and “Dick Tracy” name as well as copyright information. Plastic-covered cord is attached from back of car to steering box that holds batteries. Remote steering works, but spotlight on fender does not light. Scattered wear with a few hairline scratches/paint nicks. VF. A variety of differently designed and different sized Dick Tracy police cars were produced.
