11x15.5” newsprint folder Vol. 8, No. 3 published in Spring, 1938. Front cover has nice large image of Popeye with text “Hey Kids! They’re Givin’ Presents Away On Th’ Radio – Look Inside!” Four-page folder opens to reveal numerous Popsicle radio premiums including Transogram “Popeye Bubble-Set” (see item #1916 - set on left), Lucky Jeep fortune teller game, Jeep rubber doll, Popeye rubber doll, Popeye sweatshirt and more. Nice image of Popeye at top. Back page has full body image of Popeye with “10 Bags Free! Popeye Special Offer” text. Back also notes “Popeye And Gang Starts Radio In May!” and gives lists of locations and radio stations. Folded as issued with handling wear and tiny chips at corners and along centerfolds. VG/Fine.
