7.5” tall Uncle Sam Brownie high quality Majolica candlestick holder unmarked with exception of incised "2888-54" underneath base. c. 1890s. Nicely detailed figure with vibrant colors and high gloss. 1/8” flake off hat brim but not visible unless viewed down upon. Exc. display. Comes with 2 animated advertising paperdolls standing 5” and 6.75” tall. First has separate movable head and advertises Colgate & Co. Bee Soap. Scattered wear with creasing along designed side flaps. Fine. Second paperdoll is double-sided and features movable head. Unmarked. VF/Exc. Both c. late 1800s.
