Item Description
Lot of 3 real photo postcards plus one actual photo. Mid-1910s. One with great photo of “Funny Folks” horse-drawn parade wagon with clown band on top. Another shows interior of dining tent at Barnum & Bailey Red Cross benefit. All have minor corner wear w/Lt. spotting on reverse. Overall Fine. Actual photo measures 4x6” with text “Passed By The National Board Of Censorship/Clowns – Barnum & Bailey – 1915.” Water mark at bottom right, o/w Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with COA.
