2.5x4x.75” tall each. First has illustration with text “Adjournment Of Continental Congress At Yorktowne, PA, Nov. 1777, On The Day Of The Reception Of The News Of Burgoyne’s Surrender.” Back of paperweight reads “Compliments Of A.L. Clay, Dealer In General Merchandise, Coal, Sewer Pipe & C. Two Stores Yoe And Dallastown, PA.” Trace of paper separation from glass along edges not affecting image or text but o/w VF. Second is “New US Post Office Corner George And Princess Streets York PA Cost $450,000. Erected In Commemoration Of That Period During The Years 1777-1778 When The Town Of York Was The Seat Of The Continental Congress.” Backpaper with same text as other paperweight. Post office was built in 1912. Exc.
