3x4x4” tall. c. 1920s. Painted cast metal with antique bronze highlights. Book bindings have names and read “Dreams Schreiner/The Tempest Shakespeare/Dr. Jekyl & Mr. Hyde/Speeches…Washington/Midsummer Night’s Dream/Man Without A Country.” Uncertain of connection of elephant to books but may be playing on the saying “An Elephant Never Forgets.” Great design. Well made. VF.
