6.5x8.5” with 12 pages. Published for French release of Tod Browning’s classic 1932 horror film “Freaks” c. 1963. Front cover has nice bw photo of the actual freaks used in the film including Johnny Eck (The Legless Man), Zip and Pip (Pinheads), Schlitzie, Peter Robinson (The Human Skeleton), Josephine Joseph, Olga Broderick (Bearded Lady), a dwarf and a bird girl. French text within with various bw photos of stars and freaks including The Hilton Twins, Johnny Earles, Elizabeth Green (Stork Woman), Prince Randian (The Human Torso) as well as a great scene showing woman scolding Schlitzie, Zip and Pip as they drink milk. Lt. handling wear with staple oxidation. Fine/VF. An interesting and Scarce freak-related promotional item. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
