Item Description
Pair of 4-7/8x7.25” “Payment To Artists” vouchers with inked/penciled information noting Siegel & Shuster’s work on “Superman” and “Action Comics,” noting their cover work. First voucher has both names written on "name" line. It is dated Mar. 22, 1940 for a grand total of $290. Of note, Siegel’s name is misspelled “Seigel” on both vouchers. Second voucher is for Jerry Siegel alone noting his work on “Spectre” as well as “All Star Comics” #2 and “Superman” with additional “World’s Fair” notation. Total added up to $147. Dated Jul. 2, circa 1939-1940. Scattered handling wear with 3” crease on first voucher but o/w Exc.
