Radio program began Feb., 1940 as a 3 times a week radio serial and was discontinued in Mar., 1942. Show was revived due to fan demand in Aug., 1942 and continued until Feb., 1949. Bud Collyer starred as the voice of Superman. Paper label has classic image of Superman breaking chains on each side with “Superman” comic book title logo behind him. Sound Studios of New York, Inc. name appears on label as they were the makers of disc, produced by Western Electric Co. 33-1/3 rpm.
