3.5” tall by Character Art Mfg. Co., 1930s. Pressed steel frame with tin litho insert. Back has easel and top has loop for hanging. Case variety in cream (also produced in red). Insert depicts Mickey standing atop Pluto’s dog house holding a stick over top of him. Designed with separate tin piece for Mickey’s head and arm and the stick itself is designed to point at the temperature. Complete with glass cover. Comes with nicely illustrated box. Top left corner has .5” spot with black color touch-up, trace of wear along edges but all corners remain tight. Box is Fine. Thermometer is as nice as any we’ve seen with just a couple of tiny paint nicks. Exc./N. Mint. Thermometer itself is scarce, box is rarely seen and in fact the only one we’ve offered in our 43 years.
