Item Description
1.25” from the 1930s reading “Demand Free Speech/For Fr. Coughlin/Do Not Buy Goods/Advertised On/WMCA.” This station began in New York City in the 1920s out of the Hotel McAlpin whose letters formed the basis of the station’s call letters. We don’t know what its transgression was in the 1930s, but ironically today it operates in a Christian radio format. Essentially Mint and only example we’ve seen.
