The earliest button in this group is 7/8” bw election button for suffragette and congresswoman from Montana. This item is from the 1940 campaign of Jeannette Rankin who became the first woman elected to the House of Representatives in 1916 from Montana. The other 40 buttons in the group are largely 1960s through 1990s. Sizes are 7/8” to 3” rectangle. Most are campaign buttons including numerous third party presidential candidates. Moderate age on 4 items in the bottom 2 rows. 90% of the collection is Exc. to Mint.
