Item Description
This 3” button is obviously by the same maker as the preceding Superman. There are no identifying marks but button is c. 1980. Her cartoon balloon reads “Gay And Proud.” We have seen one other button with the same design but on that the cartoon balloon read “Never Under-Estimate The Power Of A Woman.” That button was offered back in our Auction #183 and drew fierce competition bringing the final price in excess of $500. Button is Exc. and displays Mint. Only example we’ve seen with this slogan.
