Item Description
4.5x5.5x9” tall beautifully painted and glazed ceramic with mark on underside for this Italian company including “W.58.” This company signed a contract with Disney in 1947 which lasted for about 10 years. This particular piece is c. 1947. One of 3 different to depict Donald as a golfer. This one depicts him posed about to swing his golf club, golf ball rests on the front of the base. Complete with removable wood golf club. Normal and typical extremely minor crazing to lower half of body only noticeable when viewed closely. Piece remains totally bright with high gloss finish. Exc. A truly impressive figurine. Only the second of this particular figurine we’ve offered in our 43 years and listed in the Hake Disney Guide with a N.Mint value of $3,500.
