Identical figurine was also produced in ceramic by American Pottery/Shaw but this is Leonardi’s version, they were known for producing figurines modeled after those by these California pottery companies as well as Zaccagnini of Italy. Underside has their company mark, back of base has incised “W/32.” Pair of tiny 1/8” flakes on back of tail and back bottom edge of base, however, remains totally bright and glossy. Exc. Much scarcer than the Shaw/American Pottery versions.
