1.25” in heavy brass featuring highly detailed high relief image of the iconic Steeplechase character with a multitude of teeth showing in his wide grin. Below his chin is panel of blue enamel with date “1911.” The reverse of this piece has a large serial number “19.” It also has a post with threaded brass cap and a pointy prong to help keep it in position when being worn. Apparently issued to individuals who rented concessions from Tilyou. Very slight luster wear, mostly on the reverse of the piece. Exc. and only example we know of. A Coney Island Park rarity.
