Item Description
Lot of 4. First are two 13x18” posters. Both have artist’s name at bottom “Hansen” and are issued by the US Department of Agriculture Forest Service/Division Of Protection.” Cream bkg. one issued 1948. Smokey at fence at top of poster 1949. Text is repeated on both with two totally different graphics. “Smokey Says-Crush It/Break It/Drown It/Use It/Remember Only You Can Prevent Forest Fires!” Lt. handling wear. Fine. Next are two 4x4.25” late 1950s decals. Both issued by US Department of Agriculture-Forest Service/State Forestry Department. “Remember Only You Can Prevent Forest Fires!” Both are Exc.-N. Mint.
